Parking Lot Sealing & Line Painting

Action Paving recently completed a line painting and sealing job at a small office parking lot in a commercial complex among several other office buildings. It was a precise and accurate job since it was between two adjacent parking lots on either side.

The Process

  1. Surface Preparation
The first thing done was scrubbing the parking lot thoroughly, removing all dirt, trash, and any dust that may have accumulated to prepare the surface for sealing. With regard to the shared borders with neighboring plots, the property line was taped and marked as needed to avoid over-spraying and contain the sealant within the marked area.
  2. Sealcoat Application
Next, we rolled out a top-of-the-line oil-based sealer in overlapping passes to achieve an even finish on the entire lot. Taping was well worth it, with sharp, clean lines at property boundaries.
  3. Line Painting
Following completion of the sealcoating, we went on to line paint, parking spot and direction arrow marking with reflective, high-visibility coating. This did not only contribute to enhancing usability and organization of the lot, but also provide it with a clean, professional appearance.
  4. Project Outcome
Negating the complicating factor posed by the shared lot boundaries, our team provided a clean, functional parking space acceptable to the office administration.
