Parking Lot Sealing and Line Painting Over Freshly Paved Asphalt

At Action Paving our most recent job was for parking lot sealing and parking space line painting, all done on some brand new paved asphalt. The work required precision and craftsmanship, particularly when marking two reserved parking spots in the middle of the lot, ensuring they were perfectly proportioned and aligned.

The Process

1. We started by sealing the entire parking lot with a high-grade oil-based sealant, designed to be long-lasting and provide the new asphalt with an immediate boost in appearance. Overlapping layers of sealant were applied to achieve a smooth and even lot surface.
2. The next part was to paint and mark the parking spots and lines. The challenge was in accurately drawing and painting two individual parking spots in the center of the lot without disrupting the symmetry of the pattern as a whole. With the use of advanced measuring tools and professional stencils, we painted the spots with precise placement and symmetry with the surrounding pattern.
3. To complete the job, we painted all of the directional markers and lines in bold, high-durability paint, enhancing safety along with organization in the parking lot.

The finished job was a smooth, well-sealed surface with neat, perfectly lined parking spaces and markings that met the client’s needs for both functionality and appearance.
